Here's a fine 25 inch, 2.25 lb Sirupati by KNN. Can't find a thing wrong with it. Good karda and chakma. Old style scabbard but well done and nicely tooled. Only problem is slight tear at mouth of scabbard. Apply Kiwi and forget it.

We'll deliver this rig to your door today for $95. At this price I'm not sure Pala is breaking even. By the time this gets to your door the shipping costs will be about $30 or $35 which leave about $60 for the knife. I don't think Pala can pay material, labor and overhead for this price. I just hope he can get the new shop up and running before he goes bankrupt.

We're getting a deal at the normal prices. Heck they're a deal at twice the price.
 
They are indeed an incredible deal...

And the PGA's are a truly amazing deal. The little bit of additional fix-up/clean up work needed is fun and satisfying to do, these prices allow me to acquire something I couldn't afford otherwise. Truely the highest quality, most affordable, most completely pre-finished knife kits there are. Or just use'em as is.
 
I like the use as is philosophy. If you use them they are going to get beat up anyway so why bother?
 
It seems like most of us will be in a race with Pala for bankruptcy if these deals keep up.

Thank goodness an UBE hasn't come up.
I'd have to break out the plastic then...
