18.5 inches and 19.5 ounces of near perfect Chitlangi -- excellent work by Bura. He does a better bolster and buttcap than anybody in Nepal. Great scabbard & frog by village sarki. Only criticism is a couple of light forging waves on left side.

Take it home for $95.

Call or email.

Nice Grab Joe!!:)

If this is your first Chitlangi you won't be disappointed. I have a 21" that weighs alot more than this one does and it is QUICK, so yours ought to be lightening fast!:)

Let us know what you think of it when you've had a chance to give it a workout (if you don't mind).

Nice Grab Joe
Let us know how it handles, I was thinking of getting this one, but I'm too slow.

Winging its way to Hong Kong in 4 hours. This khukuri will have 20,000 miles on it when Joe gets it.

JoeL, very nice catch! Probably the nicest Chitlangi I've seen since the original J&P, and welcome to the Cantina :) (In case I forgot to say it before).

Thanks for the words guys!

I will report what I think after receiving it :)

As uncle said, I was here in the cantina long time ago(almost once after the cantina was set up). I just didn't post much and actually wasn't surfing the web too much nowadays. My collection stopped at the invention of Malla I think. But this one is really nice on the pic. I know I won't be disappointed.

considering the 20,000 miles it flied.... it's very very quick.

It is very beautiful, much ,more beautiful than the picture.
It weight about the same as my 15" sirupati... that is a early one and still has scroll-work butt cap. The chitlangi is a great fighting knife.... I will not use it in heavy chopping :)
