The BAS is gone.
First is a katana -- last one Durba made.
It is silver mounted with carved horn handle. That much is perfect. Durba stuttered a little on the blade. Mid blade it looks like he had an imperfection he worked out and there's a little wave in it. A little stone work would make it look better.
The scabbard is the horn and "silver" (white metal) and could have been better done. It looks a little "squeezed" in the middle (damn that camera:barf: but the sword comes in and out okay.
We'll deliver this last Durba katana (he's done better and so have the silver men and sarkis)to your door for $175 -- half price. Don't expert HI perfection on this one but I think it's worth the price and probably more.
Call or email if interested.
Second PGA:
Another Royal Silver Mounted Dhankuta. You know all about these and there's plenty of pix. The problem with this one is the chakma got lost during shipment. They are small and seem to find their way out of scabbard. Also the horn on the scabbard has shunk slighly and a perfectionist might want to epoxy the center holding ring and the metal mouth of the scabbard in place. Otherwise it's a 10/10 effort by Bura.
This one goes to your door today for $100 off regular -- $175.
