A while back, Phil found a PH1 variant and we tried to find some info on it to little avail. Some Scratching and searching turned up a European hunting magazine by the same name as on the shield, Wild Und Hund, a popular hunting magazine, the equivilant to our Field And Stream magazine.

I recently ran across some more information on this knife, showing that it was produced in mid 1986 for Imperial Europe with an order for 500 pieces serialized on the brass guard (WuH001-WuH500). The handles were specified to be rosewood fibron (matte finish), "440 Stainless" blade etch, brown embossed sheath, dark brown lanyard. Evidently any that show up unserialized were production over runs being held for warranty, or rejects.
