Just got this in a trade yesterday, along with some folders. I don't know bupkiss about fixed blades. This one supposedly came from the factory bankruptcy sale, and makes me think of Herman Williams work. The stag is very nicely fitted, wrapping the curve of the handle like it should. The rivets aren't large-headed like the few stock PH2s I've seen. Can anyone comment further about PH2s, especially stag handled ones?? Also, have I got it right about this one??

Charlie, There was a burnt stag DU knife that came out around 2000 with the decoy. I'm not sure what the rivet arrangement was on that though. I recall seeing a couple others as well, I believe in the routed wooden box, but again the rivets are a mystery. I don't think it's a Williams knife though, his stag is pretty unique, and he generally had a mark on most of the knives he did. The stuff he did do for Schrade was usually very limited editions, like some special club knives or exposition knives, as well as some special filework on some salesman samples. I'll see if I can find any other info on those PH2's.

Thanks Eric! I've looked it over carefully, and can find no markings other than the Schrade+, over PH2 U.S.A.
