You guys ever get cuts without noticing them? The other day I sat down after cooking dinner and noticed a little slice on my thumb. It didn't make it through the callous, but it had that weird "separated" feel that cuts do and so I was looking at it in awe thinking, "I don't remember cutting myself." Then I thought about what all I had done with the knife that day and realized I must have done it when cleaning the blade because I used it to get some of the food out of the package. I've got to be more careful I guess, probably would have got me if the knife was a little sharper or my skin a little thinner.

Yeah, when my knives are sharp enough and the cuts shallow enough I normally dont know I've cuy myself until I see blood.

I recently got a lot of 'micro' cuts I guess you could say when I was feeling the edge of a knife I had been sharpening.

I didn't realize I had even cut myself until I took my son to McDonalds a few hours later and the salt from the fries started burning my finger. I looked closely at my finger and saw 5 or 6 little cuts that must have happened when I was checking the edge.

I felt like an idiot, but at least I was confident my knife was sharp :D

Yeah, I get little cuts all the time without noticing. Barring big ol' gashes, the only way I notice most cuts is when I see the blood flowing. Kind of annoying...

Same here, usually its after sharpening my blades. Some of the most ferocious phantom cutter's in my collection are my Spydies.

Yesterday I had this happened. Just sharpened my Spartan on the belt sander and got it toilet paper sharp. I must have bumped the edge and not felt it as I had a little thin line of blood on my hand....yup it was a ghost cut;)
