Phantom Ripcord

I am considering this knife but beyond the initial hoopla for winning "knife of the year" I haven't heard anything more about it. Has anyone used this knife? Does it work well as an EDC? Does the locking mechanism hold up over time?

Go to "Search" and type in "Ripcord." I did it, and it came up with some previous posts about the knife. From what I read, most people said they were good knives, but didn't like the price and ergonomics.

Ordered one last week, still waiting for it to arrive, but I think it's worth the price from what I've seen. Cheapest price I found was from dirtcheapknives.com.
