Phenolic 119 in 5160 returns!

my question is...we know Buck didn't make anymore again, wish they would though........so did c&c find in a backroom under a shelf...or did Buck find in warehouse and sell them to c&c to clean out old stock?

appeared only 9 when I got one...as I checked the cart method....so isnt many.....

I bought the 891 Sniper Grey GCK 891BKS from C&C several weeks back. I don't remember seeing it on the Buck site at that time. Shortly after C&C was out of stock, Buck had it as a web special at a lower price. And it did not last long...

I did the same thing.....im assuming there Buck made some...due to Jeff's comment of box of already made blades...in another post about these.....

this 119 in 5160 was a c&c only exclusive. guess its possible Buck found some 5160 blades and made them recently and sold to c&c, but the amount seems so small.....im leaning towards c&c store room find......but who knows..all guessing on my part.....

I agree, I wish they would repeat the 102 and 105.

I wonder if Buck holds back a few for possible warranty claims. And then release them after awhile.
Yeah these used to be very affordable.
But I'm not sleeping in a bunker, so I'm thankful......
 
I grew to like the weight of the brass knives.
It's almost as if the weight of the knife helps you complete your cut.
And Buck does such a nice job with their 5160, a bigger knife like a 119 just makes sense with the carbon steel blade.

This one is getting a patina.
I'll take one of these in a 117 too please!

Nice, almost exactly what I want in a 119. I'm just not into the brass, I like the black/silver look.

The cocobolo one in 5160 looks pretty dang nice too but of course they're out.
 
If they do a 102 I'll probably get one, but I don't have a ton of use for my 119 so I can't really justify getting another regardless of the difference.

Damn I sure hope the 5160 102 is reintroduced, I'm sure it'll have to cost more but I can't imagine in being unreasonable.
 
I wanted to order when it was still available. Even though they ship to Germany, theoretically, orders do not work. They always label me as a spam bot and I'm unable to fire PayPal. Trying to contact and subscribing to the newsletter — same. I can't get in touch with them. Tried it on a tablet and a Mac Book. No chance. Other collectors from where I live had the same problem. Will never ever visit C&C again...
