What a slick little knife. Phil is an excellent maker who understands heat treat and edge geometry better than most.. I had a fillet/utility set and they worked great.

Thanks. :D

You had?

Congratulations on a nice knife.

I have a Phil Wilson fillet knife in CPM S90V and a Chef's knife in CPM 10V. Phil makes knives that keep on cutting. I am not very familar with M390 steel, but if Phil uses it it must be great.

Thanks. :D

I am running edge retention tests on it and it holds an edge.... Well lets just say better than you would believe. :D

Hi Jim. Is this one your knife, or one someone sent you for testing?

If it's yours, I'm jealous! Phil is on my short list of dream makers.

Thats the kind of knife you could do anything with from bird and trout to all manner of small game to full out deer skinning jobs and more. Pretty much an all around user there. I'm jealous! I've always wanted one of Phil's knives but never got in touch with him to discuss getting one.

Thanks STR, it's a great do just about anything you want knife. :)

Well, as you may know, you might be mistaken for one with the orange and blue colors. My ex went to Illinois, but rest assured that I won't send her your way. ;):p

Oh yeah don't send her my way, I don't need any woman problems right now.
