To all,

New to the forum and to knife history 101.. Bought a WWII Pilipino bolo Machete (appears legit) but has a stamped N or Z depending on which way you look at it. Does anyone know the significance and what it means?

I'm in no way an authority/expert by any means but it would help if you can post a pic of it.

That being said, it's not uncommon for makers to have their initials stamped on it.
