This is Phillip's first attempt at a yanagiba. CPM-154 (61 RC) 240mm in length....desert iron wood burl for the handle. Edge is about 10 degrees with a slight hollow grind on the opposite side. It's a little short for a yanagiba but it will be just fine for use in my kitchen. I think he did a great job.

Thanks for the comments. I cut up some cod with it tonight as a test before the tuna. It performed very well....silly sharp. One continuous cut through the fish leaving the cut pieces smooth with no tearing.
