Philllll, meet Helga, my "pet" tree rat. Don't know if she's kin to you or not. Anyways, she likes ears of corn, but her absolute fav fast food is chocolate MOON PIES!! (She will even wash them down with a little root beer from the can if held out to her.) Not much for hangin' out with the neighbors, but she did become my shop foreman after finding out just what was dripping out of a copper tube back behind the place and really does her part to help out. bless'er little heart. On Saturday nights, she slips into her "Goth" attitude for the evening and struts around wearing a black collar with 3/8" nickle plated spikes on it.

Your furry forewoman, reminds me of the wilderness of the Sangre de Cristos. I spent weeks trying to figure ways to keep her relatives (nicknamed Mini-bears at Philmont Scout Ranch, near where I was hiking) and the full size bears out of my toothpaste and cooking supplies only to sit up each night watching them make clowns of themselves trying to get at the hanging bag. What entertainment!
 
darn bookie, that's a big azz squirrel. keep feeding her corn and she will be ready for harvesting in a couple months,lol.
