Hi all !!
I just finished registering and this is my first post. I have been reviewing forums for about a month now. I found it by accident (using a search engine) looking for info on what else but, "knives". I have already learned a great deal from all of you and I thank-you very much for that.
Now on to my question. Does anyone have any info on a upcoming knife show in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area. I have been a knifeknut for sometime now but have not been to any shows as of yet.
Thanks for your help.

Welcome to your new addiction,Raptor. Don't think there are any shows scheduled for the Philly area in the near future. I believe the closest show would be the NY Custom Show in Manhattan on Nov.10,11,12.
Though you might see some nice knives in action in Philly if you travel down South St. late at night with some bills hanging out of your pocket

More likely if you travel just off of South Street

.

There are occasionaly gun shows in Fort Washington and Valley Forge that have some knife content, not sure when the next one is.

Raptor,

Not sure how far this one is from you, but the "Chesapeake Knife Show" on Dec. 10th is a good show for only custom knives.

You can find out more at...
http://www.knifeshows.com/

I'll have a table there, but they just can't seem to figure out how to put my name on the list.

South St.---I think that I'll skip that one. I've had some fun there and I've come close to trouble there also. Everytime I go there, someone (fortunately no one with me) ends up on the ground. Still, fun place if you keep your eyes open and facing your beer.

Thanks again,

"From my head down to my Hiney"
Just kidding. I saw that on a bumper sticker once.
I'm originally from Mass. but have been misplaced.
I do like the "pines" though. They remind me of home. Both the the wife and I enjoy the Cranberry Festival every year. I wish that there was a knifemaker (or two) that would show. That would do it for me.
The "pines" are also good for 4WD action !!

Cranberrys, Chatsworth and a day of four wheeling ... could think of worst things to do with my time.

I'm a native and have four wheeled, motorcycled, dirt biked, canoe-d, hiked, camped, hunted, party-ed, and generally messed around in the Pines most of my life. Did some undergrad work on "the Pine Barrens, studied under John Sinton and am very proud to be a Piney.

Ah the Pines, if I had to explain it to someone, they wouldn't understand.
