I have received this email twice now. I assume is is a phishing scam since I have not had warranty work done at Buck. I did inquire about a SPA package, but never sent anything in.
Be careful.

"Please review the attachment for the payment notification of an WIRE payment made on 07.10.2018, ALLOW 1-2 BUINESS DAYS FOR THE BANK TO COMPLETE THE PROCESS."

Then there is a link to an invoice at a web address starting with the below domain.

Don't forget Buck was hacked and when they send an email it has their logo somewhere. I don't think Buck accepts wire transfers? Yes, that is Bucks warranty address but that is on their website available to anyone. Don't click on the link....

Buck doesn't keep your CC info. That's why you have to give it everytime you have to order. I heard some employees had some trouble and there website and computers...Nothing about customers...

This is obviously a scam email but because it references the Buck spa specifically elevates my awareness. I also don't think anyone who isn't a Buck representative should assume and make claim in this forum Buck's customers information was not obtained in the recent hack. In fact we should all be diligent in the possibility of future scams from this breach like the one posted from the OP. The OP received a scam mail and they are (I'm assuming) on the Buck mailing list or have purchased from Buck in the past. Glad to hear through the grapevine my credit card information wasn't kept on file or stolen direct from Buck but this doesn't give me pause to not keep my guard up.

If you're referring to me, I said: "I HEARD nothing about customers". Thank You...

Post #5 Jeff Hubbard is a Buck representative....

Your own email could be hacked. If you had any correspondence with Buck and their is a key logger program on your computer then they would know who and what you are doing on your computer. Since so many people deal with Buck thru email I would think the problem would hit everyone.

But that is the warranty email address.
People can send email as anyone. There are mechanisms used to determine the authenticity of the sender's address that make it more likely your email provider will spam filter it, though.

If they were hacked in terms of their customer list getting out, it would stand to reason those people would be targeted for such a scam, as they have a relationship with Buck and may trust the sender.

Some clues are bad grammar, spelling, the odd ball use of caps and the non US style periods used in the date. I don't see how they plan to get paid. I guess you have to click the link.

This e-mail is not coming from us. The e-mail name is one of ours, but the actual e-mail address underneath is not ours. Since it is not coming from our servers, we have limited ability to stop it. We are working on the issue to see if we can get it stopped.
