I realize this will be "old hat" to you folks who have dealt with Buck in the past, but it's my first customer contact with the company, and I want to give my impression:

I was blown away!!! :D

I called Buck yesterday to inquire about getting a "spa treatment" for my two dot 110. First off, as I expected, I got a recorded message ..... not just some perfunctory, machine sounding "voice", but a recording by Chuck Buck! I know it was just a recording, but I was impressed that the Chairman of the Board of the company thought it important enough that when people call in, they should be greeted "personally" by him!

Anyway, I wasn't sure which # to press to get where I wanted, so I pushed one that sounded logical to me ..... turned out to not be the department I needed, but the gentleman (Randy, I think, but can't remember for sure) was very helpful and connected me to where I needed to be. I got a recording asking me to state the nature of my call, etc., and to leave my phone #, which I did.

I received a call this afternoon from Debbie - probably the best customer service representative I've ever had the pleasure to speak with! After a very nice conversation, I asked how much this "spa treatment" would cost ..... I was blown away by hearing $6.95!!! ..... Still can't believe it! (And that includes return postage ... unbelievable!)

Both people I spoke to were very helpful, nice, and personable - not like people at some companies where you can tell they are only "going through the motions" and that this is "just a job" for them - you could tell that these "Buck people" cared about their company, cared about and were knowledgeable about Buck knives, and cared about you (me), the customer.

I am impressed!!!

Always great to hear an update like that!

I have called a few times to order items and it's always been first rate.

One of the many reasons I'm a loyal customer.

I called last week and told them to start on the 112 I sent in. I have all the same impressions you have had. It is a great call from the start with the Head Man on the phone. Mine was a bit more for a reblade and spa treatment. Cannot wait to see it.

Everyone I talk to at Buck, have always been a Great Help... #1...:thumbup::thumbup:

Can't wait to see your knife... ITE ...

Great feedback you guys. I am very happy to pass that on to the crew. Debbie is a sweetheart and it sounds like Randy (in Dealer Services) was a pleasant stop on the journey.

Dad's voice on the recording was his compromise with me when we installed the system in the first place. He did not want to lose the "person answering the phone" and I really like getting to skip all the stages if I know a person's extension.

Those are just some of the reasons we are all buck nutz.LOL,they make a great knife, and have grerat customer service, thats all i want from any company and i'll be loyal as a dog buds.lol

Coyote.....if you were impressed with the customer service you will really be impressed with the results of the "spa" treatment! :)

+1 on all that was said. I have sent several care packages in over the last 6-8 months and they are all given the greatest care:thumbup: Joe is a great help but he and others have trained the warranty dept personnel so well and I believe they are such delightful people to begin with, that the result would be the same even if Joes hand isnt directly on it. Highest marks to them all.
