No lube is needed on those.. They do need to be broke in though. They actually get better with use. On the hand made folders I make I usually keep them on me for a week before shipping it out to the new owner just to get them broke in good. After alot of opening and closing the pivot will need tweaked down a bit because on some of mine, one that got mailed out just yesterday in fact, the blade got to the point that it almost flung opened too fast and too easy. At least that has been my experience with them.
I usually burnish the blade good too where it contacts the washers before setting it into the knife on the final install. This way it has a smooth polished surface to slide on.
