I tried unsuccessfully to load 3 photos last night in the Blade Exchange, but no go. They are the smallest my camera will take (640 x 480).
Although I have a Platinum membership, the most allowed in attachments is 100kb per photo. My photos are 102kb - 114kb.
That doesn't seem like much space for $75 per year.
Am I doing something wrong here? I shouldn't have to resize photos that are that small, should I?

Thanks!

Should we change the limit to 114k, and have complaints from the people who want to post 116-120k pix? Would that be any different?

Anything more than 50k in a 640x480 pic is just wasted -- you can't see it on your screen. Try it -- compress those jpgs to about 50k and do a blink comparison and see if you can tell which is the bigger file.

Understand, I'm not suggesting you should make it smaller than 640x480. Don't resize the pic -- recompress it. That only changes the file size without changing the picture size, and it won't lose any detail that can be seen on a monitor.

If all else fails, use Imageshack.us to host your images and you can link to them on every site, instead of having to reupload for each one.
