I am thinking of replacing the handle on my Ontario SP5. does anyone have a photo of the bare tang, so I can get a better idea of what would be required before I remove the existing handle?
 
We'll see if we can find an SP5 that hasn't had a handle put on it yet, but there's no guarantee we can. That said, we can tell you that it's pretty beefy.
