Again... since I finaly figured out how to load photos thanks to a lot of help from my friends here on the forum.. and since I am off work today.. and its been raining.. and I really have nothing else that I want to do.. I thought I would take some photos.. and so here they are such as they are. still experimenting with light.. still using my cell phone..
Subject: This is my favorite Umnumzaan.. it is an early production Type 1 from October 16 2008. It is BNIB in its original box with all of the accompanying literature, white tissue paper etc..

Thanks for shareing Dave. I do love the older ones. It is interesting how the light can change the color of the scales so much. Keep them coming Dave.

Thanks Bill!! I too love the early Zanns!! Yea the first photo is the most accurate as far as color goes. Hopefully I can get it dialed in.

Thank You Andre!! I hope to get better with the photos.. but it took me several months just to learn how to post them!! It may take several years before I can get the pictures down.

Those are some great pic's of a first gen 'Zaan, buddy. It was really quite a feat for Chris & company to incorporate all of the little design tweaks into the knife after the 2008 Blade show in June and get them into production models by October. I bet there were a lot of late nights that summer. Thanks for sharing as always.

Thanks Steve!! I have read here on the forum that the first shipment was in September of 2008. If I remember correctly Birth Cards were around 9-9-2008 give or take a week. :confused:
