enderwiggin,
Sorry I haven't checked here in awhile. I have an "original" Gayle Bradley with full steel liners. The newer ones I think I've read have skeletonized liners to some degree. With that in mind, I can't tell a difference in weight when in hand at all. The specs on Spyderco's site show the GB to be just 0.2 oz heavier, but I assume that's the new skeletonized version (I don't recall/know what the weight of the older version is, but like I said, it feels pretty near identical in hand to me).
99% of the time I carry my knives in the side pocket of carpenter pants (not clipped...just dropped in there); therefore, I don't have an opinion on length in pocket. Like in the hand though, the weight differences are virtually negligible in that pocket. As far as length in hand, I think they're pretty darn similar also, and both are quite comfortable. If you look at the first 2 pics I posted, the handle grip area of each knife is just about the same.
In considering length in pocket, I would think they'd be pretty close for comparison in that regard also. The GBs clip rides a bit higher, so you'll have a bit of knife sticking out of your pocket. The PPT's clip essentially puts the knife full depth into your pocket. The GB is a little flatter, so it may be a little more comfortable, but the PPT isn't uncomfortable in my opinion (but as I previously mentioned, I rarely clip the knives in my front pocket...I don't think I have enough experience with that to give a good opinion to you). For what it's worth, my girlfriend likes to carry the PPT clipped in the front pocket of her purse. With the full-depth style clip, she likes that anyone who looks at it will probably just think it's a pen clip.
I have read some reviews previously that the PPT clips in the pocket at an awkward angle and is a bit uncomfortable. As I've said, my method of carry makes that a moot point.
Bottom line...if you only were to buy one, my preference is the GB. That's largely in part to it being wicked sharp from the factory, the smoothest action I've ever seen, and the blade length, shape, and steel (CPM M4 is GREAT).
Good luck!
