Hi folks, well I have a really lovely stag scaled Hounds Tooth wharncliff, but I'm also thinking I might like to get the spear point bladed one too.

My request is, for those that might happen to have both, is to see them side by side CLOSED, I want to see how much the spear point comes up above the frame, I've seen them both open, of course I have the one ;)

So if you have em' lets see em' and if you just want to share your Hounds Tooth, that'd be cool too :)

#55 Houndstooth with single SpearPoint blade... This has been my EDC for about 6 weeks now - I LOVE IT! :)

Another angle that actually shows what you were asking for a bit better. Sorry I don't have the warncliff blade for a side by side.

Wharncliffe is on top, spear on bottom. Spear point rides lower to the handle by a couple mm.

Thanks, that does help, I was thinking the spear would be taller out of the frame, but that's pretty good.

the side by side comparison is interesting, the spear rides conveniently lower, but the wharncliffe's curves look aesthetically nicer with the curves of the frame.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. I also prefer the wharnie over the spear when open, much more graceful.

The spear on the #55 conforms quite nicely to the "swell" end of the frame, imo:
