Trying to decide whether a large or small sebenza would best suit my needs. I've always been impressed by how well the BM 710 carries despite it being a 4" folder. This I would attribute to it being slim and thin.

If anyone has both blades and a camera handy, I'm looking for comparison photos of side profile and top down shots of both knives open and closed.

From what I've seen so far, it looks like the large sebenza carries similarly to the 710, but I'd like to make sure before dropping the cash. Thanks!

As it so happens I have both knives and a camera.

They do carry similarly with the 710 being just slightly lighter due to the G-10 scales.

Let me know if you need any more angles or have any other questions. Hope these help.

Thank you so much m.and! Those shots were exactly what I needed and envisioned. Looks like the large is just the right size for me.

Glad I could help. The 710 is one of my favorite large EDC knives because it just disappears in your pocket. I have had my large Sebenza for about a week and it is quickly replacing the 710.

Very nicely done - very clear and useful.

One non-dimensional difference. A plain Seb, like a Millie, makes a pretty loud *thwack* when it locks opened. Axis knives are almost always very, very quiet. The sound effects can alarm  NKP. (In my very limited experience, the Sebs with inlays are quieter, btw.)

Birds of a different feather..

You can buy (3) BM 710 or (3) 913 Strykers for the price of a Lg Seb.

Is the Seb a better knife overall? Probably.
Is the Seb worth 3x as much? Probably not.

This will be debated forever.

Win some football money this weekend and buy all three.

I tried flicking these three in the pic below and cannot tell any sound difference.
They all scare the hell out of me, let alone a NKP..
