Hello everyone I'm looking for a new lockback and have decided between these 3 and wondering if anyone that has the Moki could post a pic along side these Bucks. Thank you in advance!

The Moki is not commonly talked about in the Traditional Forum.

I don't have a Fish Owl. I do have a Kronos. And I have a 501 from both the standard Buck offerings and from the Buck Custom shop.

Moki fit and finish is impeccable. I would rate it as about equal to that of the Buck Custom shop. And I would rate Moki as head and shoulders above standard Buck fit and finish.

But the Moki feels like a more finely designed knife, with little a bit of rounding here and there to make the knife feel better in the hand. I also feel like the balance of the Moki is a bit better.

So, no pics, but I hope that helps.

I don't have the Moki you're inquiring about, but I do own a couple of their jigged bone models (Jess Horn collaborations, which aren't germane to this forum because of their pocket clips). I've also handled quite a number of their knives at shows.

What he said about Moki fit and finish is true; it is superb, and I'd have to rate it as the best quality for a production knife that I've yet seen. As good as GEC's quality is, for instance, it's still definitely a step down from Moki.

If you like the design, I'd pick the Moki over a Buck any day. They're just that much nicer.

Thank you for the information all of the pictures and videos I have seen show the excellence F&F of Moki knives and that's really a big draw to those knives.

I have a small fish owl. High quality and very light because it has no liners.
