Photo request- wrapped HEST

We all love to wrap our izulas, and there's no shortage of photos or ideas for them. I've broken down, and finally have a hest on the way. I saw the passaround got a wrapjob on it at one point. Just wondering if anyone carries thiers wrapped, and if there are any good variants on the standard cross weave. Thanks guys!
 
I carry mine wrapped, but I'm boring and just have the cross weave. But I've been thinking about updating the look when I get some new (non black) 550
 
I'll prolly just cross it too, but with the extra space, I was thinking of trying a double or something.
 
I'm stripping mine soonly, it's got alot of miles on it already and the finish isn't doing the knife any good anymore.
 
Anyone ever fit theirs with a capsule and then wrap it like it was shown when the literature on them first came out? I'd like to see how that works out. I think it would allow for a really good purchase on the knife.
 
I think the micarta handles are low profile and secure enough, unless they break or I need to make a spear I won't be touching them.
 
I just got one of these I took the micarta off as soon as I got it wrapped it just like an Izula but the handle looked too long so I went back to the micarta.
 
I'll probably play around with both. I like the idea of a small fire kit inside, so even if I wrap it I'll probably get a small steel inside.
 
Probably not many out there wrapped, I only found one looking around. One of the cool things about the hest is the hidden area in the scales, so it's not shocking there's no photos yet.

Very nice. I think I may try the open handle wrap next. I like the look of that.
