I'm considering buying a sage 3 with carbon fiber and a chaparral in carbon fiber or titanium.

Could someone please show some pictures comparing those to a manix 2, regular or XL or sage 4? I'm interested in blade and handle thickness and length opened and closed.

Is the handle on the sage 3 as thick/thin as the sage 4 handle? Does it have a backspacer, if so what is it made of?

The sage 3 CF has a G10 backspacer. It is perfectly smooth with the scales, and almost looks like a solid piece with the scales.

I don't own the Sage3, but I have a Sage 1&2, Chaparral CF, and Manix2 (regular size) sprint run. Can't help you out with some of the demensional stuff on the Sage 3, but if you want I can get you some comparison pics for Chaparral comparison and overall Sage size comparison.

Here's a Chaparral, Sage 1 (which is virtually identical in size to a Sage 3), and Manix 2

Sage 3 is thinner (.402") than the Sage 4 (.444"). Manix 2 is a bit thicker (.451"), Chaparral is a good bit thinner (.345").
