hope this can stay in WS&S, it is a good research tool for people.
I use the OPERA web browser, and one of the Widgets for Opera is called "imageGREP"
It is a photo search tool that grabs all photos tagged with your search terms, from Google, Flickr, yahoo, & Photobucket.
for example if you enter "bushcraft" into the search bar, and choose Google, you get a ton of knife, campfire, shelter pics etc etc etc. If you narrow down the search term to something specific, you get a ton of images related to that topic. I entered "bushcraft tarp" and got 1000's of photos of tarp setups. Google seems to be the best for images, with photobucket a close second.
if you use it on a Mac, you can can simply "grab" the photo with your mouse pointer and drag and drop it into your desktop as a JPG. (not sure if you can do that on other platforms)
you can also download Opera Mini for your phone or Itouch and use ImageGREP on those devices too.
Might be useful for us WS&S patrons when looking for images of stuff (knives, tools, places etc) , as you can search the 4 major online photo storage sites without needing a account for them. Requires the OPERA browser
