For years I've had issues with Photobucket being EXTREMELY slow, even with a brand new computer and high-speed internet.

So is there another photo sharing website you guys use that readily displays html codes for forums?

I use Flickr. They have HTML and BB code for the forum, and give you 1Gb of free photo storage.

imgur is what I use and it gives you the ability to string multiple pics together to post in a thread in one click.

OP, I'm pretty happy with imgur and their phone app is working good for me for uploading. I have a buddy who has been having issues with it though......

Well dang. I use imgur and did not know that. Thank you.

Hey evltcat, do you use a smart phone app with flickr? And if so, how do you like that, especially for uploading? I looked through there the other day, looked like a nice site.

Hey Knocks,
Yes, I upload photos using my phone to Flickr. It's pretty simple to use with Google Photos. When you choose the images and tap share, you can select Flickr, and upload directly using the Flickr app. I use Flickr Albums to organize my knife pix and the app also allows you to create a new album or add to an existing one. Really helps find pix later when you have a ton of them!
I don't use Tapatalk on my phone so it doesn't have the tool to grab BB Code from the Flickr app to share, but I think it does if you have the Tapatalk app installed. I usually share photos via the Flickr web interface and post on the BF website.

Thanks bud, that's very helpful. I like the organization part, my stuff is getting out of control lol.

Other thing I like about imgur, if I'm not mistaken you can move your pics to different folders within the server and unlike Photobucket when you move it to a new folder you won't wind up with a broken link.

I had to find a site for pictures because of this forum. I saw people readily recommended imgur and it worked pretty well. I use my phone mostly and all I have to do is grab the picture from my phone's camera album in the app, then hold my finger on the picture I want and it'll copy the URL code. Worked every time so far(twice), ha.

imgur is the best solution IMHO

In the last few months or so, I've noticed photobucket seems to launch a full-scale assault on my computer's resources, every time I've logged in. Loading hordes of who-knows-what to every page I try to access, even to do something as simple as copying the IMG code for one pic, for posting here. Incredibly slow; I'm beginning to look at them as an attack site, against my computer.

That being said, I finally got ticked off enough with photobucket, that I deleted everything I'd saved to albums in my account there, over the span of years. This also means all the pics I've linked in old posts here are no longer viewable; that's how ticked off I am with them, to go to those lengths.

I'm now signed up with imgur, based on the suggestions here. Thanks guys.

That is exactly the way I feel about photobucket. I just want to grab the bbcode and post a pic to the forum, but it's like it attacks and freezes my computer. I haven't deleted my images from there because I didn't want to break all the old links, but now when I'm forced to log in there, I make sure the image is copied into my imgur account for later. Too bad because the photobucket app is so convenient for uploading. Wish I had started with imgur from the beginning.
