Spark: I really LIKE that the software will restrict larger than 1000-pixel-wide images down to 1000 in a thread, with the option to click larger to view full size.
This keeps the side scrolling and the inadvertent oversized image manageable to view.
It also has the LARGE benefit of showing compressed version of the large image with MUCH more clarity than a 1000-wide image alone. It's voodoo.
However, there does not seem to be a restrictor in place for vertical (portrait) images. They can run off the screen.
I offer an example below which is 1200-wide by 1557-long:
It is 1000 x 1300 before you click larger.
PC/MAC Browsers are landscape-oriented with menu bars above and below. There isn't much vertical space. Long and wide are fine. (By contrast, phones are the opposite. Sigh)
Is this setting one that can be considered? How many others are disappointed that they have to scroll for the full length?
I'd suggest 1000x1000.
Let's discuss?
