Photo Tip: Easy, free n' fast images on a CDN...

So as I surf around I see a lot of people using Photobucket to post images. And it's always slow as heck to load. Especially on a Wifi'd Apple iPad.

So goofy little tip here...use AOL Instant messenger to send/message yourself the image and it uploads the image to an AOL CDN (content delivery network), enabling you to refer to that image in other places. Like I. These forums.

In AIM, you click the little paper clip to find the image on your computer and IM it to yourself. The image appears in the message window. Then just click the image and it appears in a browser where you can see the URL to the image in the address bar. Boom...free and fast image hosting!

Up to 50mb, too. Not that you should be posting 50mb images.
