Here's a photo, while not Presidential, which celebrates Monday's National Holiday on a forum that makes a point to support Freedom and Liberty and the benefits of it that we have here, hopefully to spread to all peoples of the world. :thumbup:

Statue Name : Liberty Enlightening the World
Inscription on tablet: July 4, 1776
Liberty is clothed in a classic Roman cloak and dress called: Palla and stola
Height: 151 feet 1 inch
13,300 cubic yards for concrete in pedestal
Statue made of 350 individual pieces
The copper sheathing is 3/32" thick, and weights 179,200 pounds
And was a gift from the people of France

I agree 300.Nice photo.Our company gave up this holiday rather moved it to Jan. for MLK day in order to satisfy federal requirements to receive those monies.DM
 
The copper emblem on the two, is made from materials taken from the Liberty during her restoration.

Lee Iaccoca headed up that project and his name is on some of the certificates that came with those knives. Would love to have one actually signed by Lee.

Mine also.... was wishing I had an original sig on one of those. Or the only one I have...lol

Thought I had two...guess not.
 
300,,, Whats the serial number on the back of the tang on the 825? I haven't ever paid these much attention.

anyone know how many of these were made? and the 826
 
P R, 25,000 on the 825... 826 15,000 and then they did 15,000 more So that's 30,000 of these, Wow... That's what my book tell me... (Blades Guide To Knives and Their Values) Did they make that many??? I can't say for sure but may be Joe H can tell us... I have to see what numbers I have...
