Excuse me but can someone please post up instructions for inserting images into a thread or attaching thumbnails or point me to the instructions for same. I used to be able to attach images here without issue. Now I can't find any instructions and nothing I try works. It won't take jpg files directly from my computer ad it won't take images from my photobucket account and I don't see a sticky for image uploads. Every time I try I get an invalid file message. Can someone please help.

Any idea what is going on with the site guys? I can't get any image uploads to take whether from my photobucket account or direct from my computer. Keeps calling these jpg files invalid files. I can't contact the moderators either by the normal process provided by the site or via pm. I am just trying to place an ad for a knife for sale. It has been a year since I have done that. but it just went smoothly then as I remember it. Are there new instructions for photo uploads? I can't find any instructions for photo uploads anywhere on the site. Any ideas?

With your photobucket account you can upload your picture from your computer to their site and then copy the IMG link. Then just paste that into your text and the pic will show.

How I wish that was working. I have tried both IMG and Direct as there is one instruction I found that said to use Direct. The only thing I have been able to do successfully makes no sense. i have been able to post links to the Photobucket photos and the links are working. Makes no sense to have the links working but can't post the actual photos from from Photobucket

I clicked on your last photo link in your recent sale. Off to the right of the picture there's four links you can copy. I copied the IMG link and I will simply paste it below

So it sounds like what you did was copied the IMG link directly into the post. Is that right?

I have been trying to use the IMG icon and copy into the field that comes up when you do. I never thought to try to take it directly into the post.

Yes. Also if it can be helped, please don't post pictures that are big enough to be door posters. If you can resize your pictures to help them load quicker it is greatly appreciated.
