Photo won’t load

New and trying to sell a large number of folding knives from my late husbands estate. Wrote the first ad but photo’s won’t load, even just one. Says file too large. The format is daunting. Is there a phone number for help? TYIA

I've had good luck taking a screenshot of the picture and then uploading that, usually under the file size limit.

I tried and it goes in to my photos and is same as loading them. Maybe I am not understanding. On an iphone.

Best way I know is to upload the pics to imgur, and then leave a link on the for sale page

Go here: magaimg.net and upload your pictures. It will open a tab where you can copy the url of the image.

In your thread, edit the post (or post again in the same thread) and click on the picture icon (with the mountains and the sun/moon) next to the smiley face, copy the url in and insert the picture. Be mindful of where your cursor is when you insert.

Sounds like a lot but it’s incredibly easy once you do it once or twice.

Move your photos into Preview then use Preview to resize them (one at a time). Save them to a folder in documents then upload them into your message.

After you resize them you can actually use then copy function and load them directly into your message from preview. (CMD C then CMD V)

I may need to find some one local to help. I don’t even know how to find preview! I did move them to my laptop and will try again tomorrow. Thank you so much for everyone trying to help.

Resize them should work. Go to picresize and select 75% smaller

I assumed from your terminology that you were using an Apple. My advice only applies to Apple laptops.
