Photobucket phone number?

I am wondering if anyone has a phone number or e-mail address for photobucket? I lost my signon/password note and have attempted to reach them thru their site many times during the past week. It keeps telling me the info has been sent but I never receive anything. It's real frustrating in today's world to not be able to talk to a real person or to have a company ignore you. Granted it is a free service (What do you expect for nothing? Rubber biscuits?) and it doesn't seem justifiable to bitch about something you get for nothing, however I have sent them my information and requested my signon/password and have even told them to cancel the account if they don't want to deal with it. That way I could just sign on with a new one. However the system keeps telling me there is an account under my e-mail address and won't let me create a new one. Arrrrrrgggggghhhhh!!! The phone number I have was gleaned from these forums and is: 1-866-428-0596. If anyone has any other way of contacting them I'd be grateful. Or am I barking up the wrong tree and this is just their standard way of doing business?
 
Always select a password that is very easy to remember or associate with, so you won't have that "I lost my password syndrome".
Folks who create those super secret passwords often end up in your predicament.
Then write that password with a felt pen on your keyboard.

I don't know if they provide phone support; I doubt it. It's a free service....

When they send you a new password it gets caught in an overactive spam filter -- might be on your computer, might be at your ISP. Look for it in your junk folders.

When you try to open a new account their system recognizes you by your cookies. Delete your cookies and you'll be able to open a new account. If you're using Internet Explorer click on Tools, Internet Options, Delete Cookies. If you're using another browser it'll be similar.
 
Thanks for the help guys. Yeah I know, I know, I know. Write it down. I'm no dummy. I did have it written down. I have carried a notebook for years after I hit 40 'cause the old memory isn't what it used to be. I have a number of different passwords and signons, so I write them all down! I just happened to lose (misplace, misfiled, whatever) the darn thing. Can't find it at all. I know how to delete cookies etc. too, but I did NOT know that their system reads cookies. I'll try that trick. Thanks again.
 
Cougar, I deleted cookies and files and their system still rejects me. They apparently will not allow two accounts to one e-mail address. Sumbitches! I don't have any junk folders in my e-mail either. Frustrating. GOtta figure something out.
 
Just got off the phone with my internet provider service tech. They checked their server, there has been no e-mails received from Photobucket. Their best guess is that the company just isn't responding to me. Not surprising today (or in the light of it being a free service). I guess I am going to have to look at another hosting service.

Right, of course they won't. It only takes a couple of minutes to set up an email account at gmail or yahoo or -- they might allow hotmail, I don't know....

How long have you been using your photobucket acct.?
I was thinking after a certain length of time,they want ya' to upgrade to a paying acct. :eek: :D

Then create a new email account. And then a new PB account. Most ISP provide for multiple email addresses..
