Photographs of the new fluted TiMil?

The flutes are on the outside surface of the scales. It is a 'sunburst' type pattern where all the flutes radiate out from a central point near the pivot. The scale is also slightly rounded so it is no longer just a flat scale with some flutes. It looked good but I wasn't real crazy about the purple anodizing.

Edit: Guess I should have watched the video first as he says essentially the same thing.

They are easy to see in real person but no they aren't super big. Probably only half a mm from top to bottom of the flute at the end of the handle furthest away from the pivot. I think they got a little more deep as they radiated outwards so the end toward the pivot they were even shallower. I'm sure it provides some texture but think it was more of a cosmetic design thing.

I spotted a yellow manix 2 and the clear frn manix 2 as well as the caly 3.5 in there along with a bunch of other odd looking protos.. hmm

The one that I saw was mainly purple with some gold accents. I think I heard (in the video?) that the color is done by hand on each one, probably with a torch, so no 2 will be the same. Blues and golds would be nice but I'm not real big on purple. If you plan on getting one I would suggest trying to see it in person first to make sure you like the colors on that particular one.

The yellow Manix is actually a sprint run (for USN?) with glow in the dark scales. I think it has a regular 154CM blade and no H1.
