won this in the family gift exchange, man am i glad i did. Not even 40minutes later i was using it to light up the scene where my truck was. My tire chains had broken, wrapped around the axle housing and shredded the tire. Good times!
At least i had light, and lots of it.
Ok its a Black & Decker LED light bar, rechargeable (NiMh) or 115 to 12volt wall wart. Hi/Lo settings, though the light output is pretty similar. 26 leds with a half moon reflector. Lights up a LARGE room no problem. LONG LONG run time per charge, i got 6.8 hours on low, and 5 hours on high, and over 60 hours intermittent use. The light projects a round beamspot on walls, yet floods the room with light
This is one hell of a work light or SAR/EMT/towtruck etc light, it can be hung from a branch and lights up the woods quite nicely with a soft flood. There is an anti roll rubber on the base which also lets the light stand up on its tail (traffic accident road flare!). The charger weighs about 1oz, and the light fits into a laptop bag nicely (hey technicians....hint hint....)
enough babbling i give it a 10/10 so here is the pics:
