My first thread in BF :)

About 2 years ago I got my "ultimate" camp-knife: Enzo Camper in D2 and Scandi Grind to zero.

I used this knife as my primary camp-knife and sometimes, as EDC fixed blade.

I made the scales myself, it's a home made micarta. I used a linen micarta as a liner, in which I poured some blue phosphor powder on the epoxy resin mixture; and a orange canvas micarta for added grip. The leather sheath was made by a knifemaker in my country.

please pardon the crappy phone camera.

My first try of fitting a scales into this blade was a failure. The scales were blocky and causes many hotspots. The corby screws didn't come as I want them to be. Then I sent the knife to my friends to be contoured so it is more comfortable in my hands. I also ask him to make me a Kydex sheath for it.

After carrying this medium sized knife, I find a dangler option would be very nice. The last sheath were not comfortable when I have to sit. Of course I need a paracord to strap it into my leg.

The micarta near the pin was messed up, I am not a patient one and used angle grinder to trim out the screws. it ruined the Micarta. another thing that messed up was the rivets that is not deep enough so only the screws can be seen. :(

That being said, I really like the feeling of this blade in my hand. I am a big fan of scandi grinds. It may be not perfect, the performance outweigh it's looks.
Thank you for looking.
