Some more random photos from a couple of hikes.

More edibles are starting to pop out, that's good to see. Some of the first ripe blackberries are starting to appear.

Most are still green, and some have some issues going on..

The Ocoee, or passiflora vines are starting to show up.

Edibles and non-edibles growing side by side, passiflora (passion fruit) in the upper center part of the photo and horse nettle (nightshade) just below it.

The horse nettle looks a lot like the common tomato plant because both are nightshades but I would advise not eating the fruit from the horse nettle...

Lot of thorny vines here that can be a pain in the legs...as well as other places. I like having a longer blade when I head through the fields.

Not a lot this time, but a little something to look at if you're stuck inside...

Turkey shots are pretty good. My turkey shots were okay. A couple good ones. You have to watch what the camera is focusing on as they often focus on grass or whatever in the foreground. But who actually has time for that when you are taking shots of a wild creature that may not be around for the next shot? It is also hard to get the whole bird in focus and they move their heads all the time.

Interesting angle on the mushroom looking skyward. Might have to try that out.

Autumn olives; that is one I am not familiar with. I need to look it up.

Thanks for posting.

Wow. Your pics look a lot better on this new computer. And I thought they looked good before. (Of course, it may just be the larger monitor, too)

Thanks for sharing the pics Mist.

Thanks man. Mainly I was trying to catch pics of the young, but I only had limited time to do so and they blend in so well with the grass and move so quickly that's difficult to do unless they are actually in the open. We have a lot of autumn olive here, pretty tasty.

Thanks man! Yeah, I like looking at my threads on the wife's 36 inch monitor :)

Oh, and I got a new one to play with, but I won't get to review this one :)

Thanks man, yeah I am anxiously awaiting the blackberries myself. Yep, it's stock just the way it came.

Nice pics 'Ol Bud ! Love the Turkey shots !

Thanks man. If I'm moving the turkey shots can be a pain to capture. I really like it when I'm sitting still going through photos and they just walk up on me then freak out when they notice me :)

Looks a handy little knife but who's this Brian Griffin dude ?:D

DSC_9881.jpg

Thanks man, yeah hey I know that dude, isn't he the little dog on that ridiculous cartoon show. Oh...I bet I'm going to regret that...

Just quit with these damn teasing pics !!!!!

DSC_2320.jpg

Yeah, sorry...been trying to come up with pics that show the hybrid grind better before I get it all scratched up :)
