Some more random photos from a couple of hikes.
More edibles are starting to pop out, that's good to see. Some of the first ripe blackberries are starting to appear.
Most are still green, and some have some issues going on..
The Ocoee, or passiflora vines are starting to show up.
Edibles and non-edibles growing side by side, passiflora (passion fruit) in the upper center part of the photo and horse nettle (nightshade) just below it.
The horse nettle looks a lot like the common tomato plant because both are nightshades but I would advise not eating the fruit from the horse nettle...
Lot of thorny vines here that can be a pain in the legs...as well as other places. I like having a longer blade when I head through the fields.
A little fungi here and there.
Future tinder and butterflies in a patch of English Thistle
Lots of poison ivy as usual, one tree looked like a poison ivy tree...
Made a couple of friends
Lots of turkey sign, and not just tracks.
No ideas what this is yet.
Queen Anne's lace.
Autumn Olives just starting.
More Garlic Flowers
And I spotted a hawk in the distance, but he spotted me first of course.
Not a lot this time, but a little something to look at if you're stuck inside...
