Instead of me saying.... ESEE vs Becker... My Bro is shipping off to Afghanistan for the 2nd time and he has also served 4 tours or 5 in Iraq so I want to pick up a knife or more for him as a surprise after I tweak them...did you check my history on posting I made? I made the same question on the Becker forum, I just did not want it to be another one of those vs. posts...because I just dont know what to pick up for him so if Soldiers had photos then this will help me decide...

As a veteran I knew the value of a good knife. We used to pick up blades at the px, but I wanted to give my lil brother a quality blade before his last deployment. We mounted it to his harness like this:
Unfortunatley, 1/2 way through his deployment he changed weapons & became his teams saw gunner & changed up rig's. He said someone stole his knife & dvd's in country & was never able to get a quality pic of it. He's going back this summer & I'll ask him to get me a pic then, though it's not high on his priority list. Gonna get him a RC4 this time.

Live in the same state.... I buy mine either online or keep an eye out in the for sale section, but you need to be quick because ESEE knives go fast.

pitbull592 I went to call ESEE today but they are out till the 22nd I read on their website while looking for a contact number, so I sent them an email. I have a special request that I would like to see on his knife if they are willing to do it and that is to have the back edge serrated, do you or anyone know if they have done this before?

I'm not sure if someone had done that or not? Anything is possible wih enough $, you may have to start a new thead to find out.
