I'm intrigued by turning. I love watching the guy out of Oklahoma on PBS. I could watch it all day! Very nice looking work, by the way.

Thanks! Turning is a lot of fun. I also teach woodturning.

Petrosil, the wood is spalted beech.

Well if I lived near you I would take lessons. Did a little turning at the base wood hobby shop long time ago, it was fun. I keep thinking about getting a lathe but I know that is a very slippery slope, the lathe is cheap compared to what I would want to spend on the gouges!

There's always a point to sharing great photography and throwing in the sebenza makes it even more enjoyable.
