I have two plain Lochsas on order with Scott Cook, and while waiting I stumbled across two Lochsas with Damascus blades. Needless to say, I snapped them up. I had a chance to photograph both. The first one has a 1084 & 15N20 Damascus blade, a solid 14 carat gold thumb stud, and a plain handle with pocket clip for tip-up carry.

The second one has a High Carbon & Nickel Damascus blade with bronze highlights and a blue tint to the ground portions, a solid 14 carat gold thumb stud, no pocket clip, and bronze accents on the handle, very strong on the edges that are chamfered.

In the past few years I have not purchased too many using knives unless they blow me away or unless I want to support an individual maker.

None the less the Lochsa blew me away and I frequently carry it when dressed casually. I even like the clip on these knives. (now that is a shocker for me!)

I will be in line when the small version comes out also.

Congrats lunde, they are both beautiful. Thanks for sharing. The pattern on the second one is absolutely amazing and I'm not even a big fan of damascus blades. Hey Bastid, do you know the dimensions for the small Lochsa?

Ah yes, I had my eyes on both of those for a while, the first from Classic, the second from Bob Neal, at various times, I thought hard about buying them too, they are both extremely fine examples of one of the finest folding knives out there, MAJOR score! :) Great pics too!

Here's my one and only... :)

Those are some damn nice photos. The knives are OK too, I guess. :D

Megalobyte, the Damascus pattern on your Lochsa looks strikingly similar to that on my large 2004 Limited Edition Wood Inlay Sebenza:

Is your Lochsa's blade steel made by Devin Thomas?

And yes, I purchased these beauties from the places you mentioned. :D
