Photos - Strider SnG on the way....Has Arrived!

I ordered a Strider SnG spearpoint with the Ranger G10 from TrueNorthKnives. Getting it tomorrow morning. Man I've never so happy to go to work (that's where I'm having it shipped). By the way service is just top notch. Neil is just a great person to deal with.

What a great way to finish off the week.

Edit. The beast is Home. First thoughts....Very light, much lighter than I expected. At the moment, kinda stiff but hey it's brand new. Gotta give it time to break in. Very comfortable in the hand. I now understand the whole Sebenza vs Strider deal. The way I see it ..... Sebenza is like James Bond, the best and very classy. Strider is more like a full blown Navy Seal with gatling guns.

Final verdict....... I like it.... Alot!

Yeah. Now you're talking. I was hesitating between the PT and the SnG. But I already own a Small Sebenza 21 so I've got the 3" blade EDC. So i went with something a bit bigger. The SMF is overkill for me. So might as well start off with the classic "LEGO" version. I've heard the DGG is kind of a pocket ripper because of the texture. I'll be breaking it in over the weekend.

And don't worry people, I know what it looks like.... I've watched your youtube vid (ZippoThisKnifeThat) like 10 times. I believe mine will look exactly like the one TheCajunBlaze owns. But hey keep the pics coming. It's more eye candy.

The DGG isn't too bad on my pockets. My Benchmade 520 was far worse.

It's on par with the texturing on the Zero Tolerance 300 series.

Sorry for an off topic question but do they make a model with a Ti liner under the G-10 or carbon fiber side or a Strider folder? Kinda ignorant about Striders but interested.

cziv, I ain't no expert but I don't think they make the Ti under the G10 scale (what you find on the XM18) I've seen carbon scales with the Ti framelock on starlingear collabs. There is a Strider CC with what looks like carbon but it's just slick G10. Someone else might know more about this..... Anyone????
