With the new INFIweiler on its way, I thought I'd get a bit of a buzz going about these amazing knives. Here's my CG and LE versions in SR101 steel. Both incredible performers and awesome workhorse blades. The handles are really comfy, especially the LE with the thinner stock.

Giving them a bit of a flog through some timber we felled a while ago...

Not totally sure mate. I think it's some sort of redgum or bloodgum. Whatever it is, it burns HOT.

In appearance, it looks like American Eastern Red.Cedar, but from your effort....much denser.

Yeah it's definitley a eucalypt of some sort. Smells like marmalade when you split it.
