I know this has probably been ask before.
Is there anyway to delete photos that you have uploaded.
Thanks

I see that. I don't know then. You could create a folder in the upload manager to move some out of the way, but I can't find a way to actually delete 'em.

The best way to do it is to go to your hosting site and delete them there. When you do, they will no longer appear on BF. Another way is to go post by post, hit the edit button, highlight each photo (i.e., URL, IMG) hit the delete button on your keyboard and then click the button to upload the post again. The photo will then be deleted from the post.

He's referring to photos uploaded directly to BFC as attachments. You can delete them via the link above, but they still exist in the upload manager (the paperclip button on the advanced editor). Maybe try deleting the reference in a post though? Maybe the software refuses to let 'em go as long as there's a reference?

I noticed this before - deleting the attachments does remove the images from your posts; but they remain in the Upload Manager and can be reused. I can see no way to remove them to make space for other images. Disappointing, to say the least; and it doesn't preserve the integrity of the threads because the images can still be easily removed as described in post 3.

Found it!
Go into your General Settings, and scroll down to Enhanced Attachment Uploading. Select OFF, scroll to bottom, and SAVE.
That will clear your already uploaded images, and should allow you to manage them as previously described. (I haven't tested adding and removing them - just confirmed that the old ones are gone from the Upload Manager)

Yeah, that seems to hide 'em, but if you switch back they're still there, at least for me.

You are correct - sorry about that...should have thought to check that myself.
I did try logging out, then logging back in before changing it back. Still there. Kind of an odd system.
