Photos?

As a registered member, you have to use a photo host (I use imgur). Once you load the image there, just post the IMG code here.
I haven't used imgur in a few years but I'll show you an example (give me a few)

The code looks like this:
Code:
[IMG]https://i.imgur.com/8kCOMz8.jpg[/IMG]

Hmmm - I've always hated the app; so used the desktop version (mobile site is no longer supported). Trying to use the app now & it isn't working for me. The desktop site provides a few links, depending on where you want to show your image - and the IMG code is obvious.

Okay - when I put the above in a post, it looks like this:
8kCOMz8.jpg

I know you have to have the .jpg extension on the link, or it won't work in the IMG coding.

I was going to link on the stuck thread on the matter; but the links to all the tutorial threads are broken. There are many threads in this section on the subject of posting images, though - you should be able to find more help using the search function

Thanks so much for the speedy reply!

The bbcode img tag does not limit display to only images with a .jpg file extention.

For example:
Code:
[img]https://i.imgur.com/bgh2zI9.png[/IMG]
bgh2zI9.png

Does buying the gold membership make it not a pita to post photos?
It is easier yes. You can post directly as long as the pictures aren't to large. I can't recall the size limitation, but it's rare I have any trouble and have to resize a pic.

You can just click the "attach file" bottom lower left of where you're typing your post and choose an image from your files.

Can anyone tell me why my posts look like this ? i.e. very small image that needs to be clicked to expand. My photos are stored in iPhoto and my OS is Apple . First I have to drag the image out of iPhoto to the desktop and then attach to my post and still the image is small and blurry.
Anyone here on a Mac that can help please ?

Once your picture has uploaded, but before you add it to your post, select FULL, instead of Thumbnail of the 2 options it gives you. The select option is in the little preview picture you just uploaded.
