I just received the book entitled "Photoshop Elements 6: The Missing Manual" from my publisher, and would like to give it away to someone here who can honestly and genuinely make use of it. Here is the cover:

And, more details are here: http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/9780596514440/

If you feel you qualify, and live in the US, I will include you in the drawing. I plan to pick a name on Thanksgiving Day. Because email addresses are not exposed, I will send a PM to the winner, and also announce it in this thread.

If you are willing to let me pay for shipping to the great north, I would love to be included! I am trying to improve my photoshop skills as is my wife.

Besides, do you want ducci to get it? You know it will end up pocket sized and odd looking! :D ;)

Either way, thank you!

That's very generous of you. I don't need the book (I use CS3), but I appreciate that you're giving it away, here.

Thanks.

ColdOne, you wrote:

Sure! :thumbup::thumbup:

Anyone else? I will pick a winner in the morning, before I start the pumpkin pies... :thumbup::thumbup:

I am about to start our pumpkin pies, and as soon as they're in the oven, I will pick a winner. If anyone else wants a shot at this book, chime in sooner rather than later...

WOOOHOOO!!!! Now maybe I can fix the pictures of those Grinducci mistakes before posting! Thanks much for the contest! :D:D:D

BTW, I used a short Perl program to randomly select the winner. Here it is:

Code:
#!/usr/bin/perl

srand;
chomp(@names = <DATA>);
$count = scalar @names;
$winner = int(rand $count);
print STDOUT "$names[$winner]\n";

__END__
randucci
jimmyjones
ColdOne
knifecoop
highway74
roenman

Because the program uses a random number generator, each time it is run, a different winner may be chosen.
