Any knife that is titanium has a blade that is other than a 560/186 marking, is an afterproduction dolphin stamp and was done by Buck, I spoke to Joe Houser and he said that he regrets putting the dolphin stamp on newer blades lowering the value of the originals. The only real Titanium Phrobis TiMasters are from 1987, and 1998 with 560/186 blades and a dolphin stamp. The Buck Phrobis 186/ 560 was knife of the year in 1987. Estimated 16,700 were made, these were the take apart knives. On the 560XLTi the handles were riveted and lasted until 1999 the reason was people would take the 186 apart and could not put them back together.
The build outs are what they are.New Chevy cameros don't undermine pricing of vintage camaros.
They are a limited build. I suppose no different than any build out. There is no value depreciation of the originals.
In fact Michael, as much crap as you have gave me off and on it would be great if you just stayed clear if you don't mind. Or just stay positive if your posting in one of my threads. There are very limited of build out knives. They hardly enough of them to matter and they are on the expensive side.
