Hi, Would someone know the significance of having PAT PEND on the blade? I've seen Phrobis III m9 bayonet with & without PAT PEND and was wondering what the difference is. Thanks for your thoughts!

There are several versions of the Pat Pend bayonets. I have a patent pending given to me by my best friend Rick. Him & his dad Bob made the M9 Bayonet. I got mine over 30 years ago. Not sure which version yours is & who made it. You should post a photo!

You need to post a pic so we can tell you what version it is, there are several and with subversions...Buck made ALL Phrobis except for the very newer ones made overseas, they are marked accordingly. Sorry I can't think of the Country at the moment, Brain F*rt....
