Whats with these? I have seen several of these in the pics thread that some of you HOGs have pictures of.

Were they a Busse offering?

There are also other limited run customs out there... For example, at BLADE 2007 there were 4 customs released at FOGO. Only 5 made, and Big Boss has one of them! I happen to be the recipient of one of the other four!! Mine is the one in the middle!

In 2005 you just had to be at the booth at the right time. The hooves were flying fast to nab these sweet INFI slivers.

I not only had the timing down but I was able to talk Mr. Thourot into making a big brother out of a PBF. He won't be doing that again. Working on hardened INFI and MP45 is not easy. I made sure he was rewarded with some JW Gold for all his effort.

The bolsters on both the original 5 and the Grand Piano Key are MP45, the last few chunks that Jerry had laying around after the Stealth Hawks were discontinued. Note the mirror polish (those are clouds, not a flash effect), Jerry said that the laser was bouncing all over the room when they tried to brand them.

Mine was a special order from Ban, not a real pianon key. But the piano key was the only Busse my lovely bride ever went crazy for (from Drew's pics.) I promptly posted a WTB thread, good for a few chuckles, but nobody was going to give up one of the 5 (like rings of power or something!)

Eventually I just asked Ban to mod a Skeleton Key. He ended up doing 2, which is a long story (thanks again Ban ).

Shhh, don't tell Mrs Xaman that it's not a 1 of 5. She just know's it looks like a piano key, it was a birthday present, and it's INFI :thumbup:

Since '05 the PK has been my Fogo de Chão/Boi Na Braza/Chima blade. It get's to rest for the rest of the year after the extended weekend churrasco meat-athon.

I think it will need some time on the strop before this year's pilgrimage to Atlanta.
