Yup i think i was hell bent on bigger less pretty knives that day, brother. My girl needs an edc. That came to mind.
A custom piece along those lines, perhaps. Thanks, Jimmy. I had a feeling you'd be along:D

 I'm so confused right now... Mike Thourot is not skunk, right?

Obviously this all predates me

Wow. Blast from the past. For some reason I thought you had one Jody. I guess I was mistaken. Oh well, that was a long time ago and a lot of tequila ago. See you in June Bro.

The question now is, if you saw either one sitting in a public park watching children play, would you call the cops? :)

Unless cocktail waitresses work in public parks; there is exactly zero chance of this.
Mike thourot is a highly esteemed custom maker from ohio and a good friend of jerrysand ours, designer of a couple of the swamp's most sought after designs~ the dog hunter and safari skinnner. Of course he made those piano keys from sks as well.

Not to be confused with scott who designs and funds immense copper brewing apparati in his home, spends most of his time either vqcationing with Idasow or shooting his barrett fifties on hisfront yard thousand meter range. And of course blowing the dust off the biggest collection of safe queens ever known.

Nah bro, i sure wish i did. I know better than to ask the 3 known owners to part with theirs, so if anyone knows the location of either of the others i would sure appreciate some info. I am actually thinking of proposing to my girl and since she needs a little knife i was hoping to sweeten the pot with the prettiest little knife ever made.
I bet you could whip up a little somethin at the custom shop, eh Chewbacon?

I have one. there were three lying there and I got to choose mine from among them. I never knew until today that there were only five, though. These were from the days that you didn't dare walk away from the trough because you never knew when or what was coming out from under the table.

I knew you had one Mike, but didn't want to out you ! Thanks !

The last one was snatched by someone I hadn't seen before or since, possibly on of the legendary Uber-Hogs

I could have sworn it was ronybear that had the grand piano made. Check Mike Thorout out at http://safariknives.com. Hell of a guy, hell of a master knifemaker
