I ordered a frn Chaparral this week (and a lynch clip to replace the factory wire one), and I’m curious if anyone can share a couple dragonfly/chaparral/delica comparison pics. I’ve owned/own the other two, but if possible I would like to see them all side by side, and maybe a blade thickness comparison...for whatever reason the .08 Chaparral is something I wanted to check out.

Thank you in advance,
Lee

Sorry i don't have pictures or a dragonfly, i can tell you the chaparral is so much better in hand than the DF, smaller than Delica but not by much and still finds a comfort zone the Delica doesn't offer, could be the finger choil. blade length comes in just short of the Delica but not by much. thickness is where you will find the difference, it is a slicing machine where as the Delica is more hard use. Btw, i have the chaparral light weight and the first thing i did was change out the clip to a Lynch and let me tell you what a difference. like a whole new knife. not a fan of the wire clip, also makes a crazy good money clip now.---Enjoy

Thank you for the reply, I’ve had several Spydies come and go (of course keeping some along the way), and I’m yet to own one that disappointed. I have learned to love thin “slicey” blades, so I think this one will be a winner.

I committed myself to one knife a month this year...the Chaparral will be my March purchase.

you picked a good one, the blade steel is a winner too, I recently purchased a Delica in k390 and and found a favorite steel
